Multi-tasking in progress

I greet you now while listening to iLecture for Observational Behaviour, while also chatting on msn. Multi-tasking hooray!

Had a lovely weekend... Happy birthday Dan!! [well for last monday anyway] had his party on Saturday which was fun [chicken, tree climbing, DDR, chinese checkers, that Uno version of Jenga that I can't remember the name of] also had some nice conversation after at macca's with the some of the rest of the engineering 'crew'

note to self and to you all : losing your voice is not fun. It's annoying... and people laugh =p *blah* to you all! But hooray its back...from outer space... So yes now I can talk =D

Don't really have anything else to say. Perhaps I shall go.... finish my homework.

Quote/Prophecy of the day [courtesy of Jeremy via msn] : oh black sheep, of capalistic gluttony, beware the isolated showers of dooooom

And on that note...

Things that will benefit your soul...

Okay, so not benefit your soul per se, but certainly benefit your sense of procrastination.

Turn yourself into a
South Park Character! I myself look like this if i were to live in South Park

Also, ever wanted to know where little barbies come from? it's fascinating [Tina : quick go see how you were born!...just tell me what the horse is doing....]

And lastly the website which led me to find the other interesting sites : Hanzi Smatter ... "Dedicated to the misuse of Chinese characters (Hanzi or Kanji) in Western culture" good stuff!

And now you know what i've been doing when I was supposed to be doing my assignment =)

Movies|Whedon|Uni|Hogwarts

Poor little blog. Poor neglected lonely blog of Grace's. No updates = abandonment issues.

First week back at uni, had a good little weekend just before starting. Movie marathon watching such things as Cry-Baby featuring Mr. Depp. Its classic, a rebel who breaks into song and often cries. Good stuff. And yes, he's hot in it. The Shining slightly scary even if it was the mini-series version...but I'm a wuss so it doesn't really count. The ending was terrible...For example one of the last lines : "Kissing kissing, that's what I've been missing" As far as I know most horror movies don't end in sappy-I-love-my-family-crap. Well not usually...

Watched the whole series of Firefly on DVD cos my brother dear bought it. It's pretty good, but it seems I have a partiality for Mr. Joss Whedon and his verse's. It's a space western! Meaning : Cheesy, action, romance, guns, spaceship and interesting dialogue. I thought it was quite interesting that in this universe everyone speaks chinese... just slips it into conversation every now and then, not too shabby.

First couple of days back at uni, a bit busy. I'm having wardrobe issues though which is never good. And bad timetable!! Weird breaks and too many lectures in a row. I'm gonna be very dead at the end of this year.

And finally the last thing occupying me : Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Good read, not my favourite of them all but I digress. Bought it yesterday and now I'm done. Ok so I'm a bit obsessed and I read it quite fast, but its good! And very addictive, like sugar or caffeine or drugs...not that I'd know bout the last one... anyway...

So that is my current little blog maintenance update =)

Holiday update

Been doing some emergency babysitting lately, Mother dear's friend is sick and pregnant, so I'm looking after her two year old daughter. Hence no going out for me... mostly just kiddy DVD's. ie The Wiggles, Beauty and the Beast and the Mickey Mouse version of The Three Musketeers.

Anyway, have also been trying to update my blog a bit. If you have a look over there--> under [Things to go see] you'll now see a link to my new photo album! Go. Click. Poses a plenty. Includes pics from my b'day 04 and also the recent Asia camp... The horror of it all, I am red... not good

RE: the weird guy at the bus stop. Father dear dropped me off at the licensing centre to book my next driving test [4th of august if you're wondering] I finished quite quickly so ended up trying to find a bus to garbo. After calling tina bout bus schedules I did end up finding the right bus stop, but had this weird guy who came up and was just standing behind me. Not meaning to offend anyone here but I think he was disabled... and well.. it was creepy. But have no fear I got on the bus unscathed, but for future note, I don't particularly like standing on random suburban streets with odd people standing behind me. Alf Curlewis moments are bad [specially when you are by yourself]

What else, what else... had an Engineering dinner on monday at Jo's house which was nice... ate a lot and played cards but since then I have been a hobbit/hermit/yobbit creature again.

Off to dinner now... *Catch you all on the flip side* ... or not...

[and even though you probably don't read this... *Happy Birthday Frans!*]

Things to remember from Asia Camp :

Villa 43! And also the great villa 43 family [i.e. Tina, Lynda, Sam, Kim, Nick and myself] Not to mention all of our adoptive family... missing all of you guys!

Really, really bad, cheesy, romantic asian music! Apologies to those who enjoy such tunes, but alas they made my ears bleed, give me the Strokes or Jet any day. [ Oh also if I have to hear Catch My Disease one more time... just... bad... my god... no ]

The pumpkin and the faggot... never was there a truer love. Aaaww!

Countless card games, led to a veery interesting 2nd night for me... Also Tina's super human abilities when playing poker, she had all the marshmallows, maltesers and skittles in the land.

Lots of spa-ing turning us all very prune-like and always ending in a mad dash back to villa 43... Brrr

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It is really Felix and his incredible flying shoe! *Splash*

Saunas, Ice baths, a mosh pit of sorts, falling in the "crack" and that creepy grudge woman... still scary looking.

Picture! Picture! Picture! Twas very good that we had a bunch of photogenic people in our villa, lots of good poses! Also many poses that should never, ever see the light of day... ever...

Quick Quotes :

" I know my rights " Where is Yas, is Yas here? " I like scotch boys " endless guy-talk about sports " miscelleneous girl-talk about cutlery " Who's hand is that? " Lynda stop patronising me! " I'm not drinking tonight [right...] " Darren, do you have the pringles? "

Ok can't really think of anything else right now so shall be off. To summarise, Asia camp was good.

Many thanks to Miss's Djunaedi and Loo for inviting me =)
