Early Morning Hi Jinx
Good morning candy apples.
If you notice the little yellow time thingo at the bottom of this post you will notice that I am here at the forsaken hour of 6.09 in the am! *gasp*
In an attempt to assert normal sleeping patterns upon my body and its respective clock I have undergone one of my patented-random-stay-up-all-night nights.
[Btw one's body clock, I feel, should not be confused with one's biological clock. As one has to do with one's sleeping schedule while the other is in reference to babies and the having of them.]
So here I am at this early early hour listening to the new cds I have procured by way of Mr Teo. This includes
- Get Behind me Satan : the new White Stripes album. Tis Excellent, my favourite is My Doorbell
- It's Time : the new-ish thing from Michael Buble. hehehe which reminds me of the oddness of Mr Buble singing at the AFL final...riiiight cos AFL fans strike me as big appreciators of jazz
- Aha Shake Heartbreak : great titled album of band Kings of Leon which I now like
- Plus some random fillers, like Little Birdy songs not on the album, some Machine Gun Fellatio =)
Also before I forget happy-belated to the elusive Kris Djunabli [as dubbed forever more says Miss Loo, the Kris part... I don't think the term 'elusive' is officially in her title]
Hmm...so strange can't get this whiskey taste out of my mouth *blech noise insert here* But you don't want to hear/read about that so I shall return to my CD ripping now.
sidenote : I watched The Transporter [which stars the guy from the Italian Job aka Handsome Rob] and I thought it was quite good, so I now want to watch the soon out-coming sequel =) volunteers anyone?
[renovations = good = yes? Any eyes bleeding? oh well *pfft* to you if they are! Me likes the renovations me does]

Things & Stuff
Had my little birthday bash-shin-dig last saturday. Karaoke and clubbing..thank you to those who came... hope you weren't bored ... I get paranoid bout those things...
Study break update : watched Wedding Crashers, baked choc chip cookies, IPE-ing, 10+ hours of sleep per night and birthday funded shopping trip!
The only thing missing is actual *study* [with air-quotes of course] but to this I have only one big : MEH!
Instead I think I'm gonna go trawling for a new blog skin... probably something in the black-semi-goth genre.
[yeah.. I don't know why I chose some bits to be blue... does it look festive?]
...and hooray!
Legal and now able to vote... Grace Version 18.0!
One more hour to go!

Greetings marshmallows, coming to you LIVE from the uwa mcl! My second home...[or at least it was until those freaking EBS people moved in..freaking EBS..]
Just hanging round here, being lazy... hooray for finishing assignments! *smiley faces all round* Also pondering the debate of whether or not to buy an ice cream... it is indeed a great thing to be pondering... *now a thoughtful face*
In other recent news : My team [i.e. Stef, Jo and Myself] came in the top two for our structures project! [Out of 36 teams btw... not like top two out of two teams as Sanjee suggested]
It's all good, we like winning =) words such as "best in the class" and "Exceptional" are awfully good for ones ego! Downside of course being : our reward is to present a 10 minute oral on our project. Though if we kick the asses of the other team [being Dan, Nick from IPE and some other dude] then we get a prize!...and me wants it...me wants it, myyy preciousss...
Ok, in the span of writing the above words I have indeed decided to buy an ice cream...wow decisive-ness in action.
Alritey I'm done now... am hoping that Jeremy's head doesn't explode while he completes his programming thingy two computers over and am gonna join Stef in checking out Johnny Depp pics next to me...I shall convert her to the ways of Depp! First Stef ... then the world!
